It amazes me that the world has become such a small place and everywhere is so accessible. What will Tour Operators think of next…… holidays to space! Actually they already have.
I’ve been very lucky to have visited some fabulous places and experienced many things, climbed Sydney Harbour Bridge, visited the Orang-utan Orphanage in Borneo, Cycled through Central Park, bathed in hot springs in New Zealand to name a few.
As an Independent Travel Agent it’s a great feeling to be able to find Clients a trip which suits their requirements, whether it’s a dream holiday or a late escape.

Exploring new destinations and experiencing different cultures captivated me so much that I enrolled on a Travel & Tourism course and I’ve worked in Travel ever since!
Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to see so many beautiful destinations and have amazing experiences along the way.. from trekking through the African bush in The Gambia, Experiencing the thrilling rides in Orlando, exploring beautiful cities such as Rome and Amsterdam to paddle boarding in Jamaica and watching the beautiful sunset in Barbados. However, Italy has my heart, the food, wine and culture always draws me back!
Working at Oyster is more than just a job for me, we’re more like family and our customers are at the very heart of what we do.

Putting together a tailor made itinerary is one of my favourite tasks, with Bali and Vietnam being my most popular requests.

I have always loved travelling abroad and had a passion for travel so it seemed like the logical thing to do as a career. I have experienced lots of sides of the travel industry from working at the airport to being a holiday rep abroad. However my favourite job is booking people their dream holidays.
I have been fortunate enough to visit Jamaica, Barbados, Antigua, South Africa and have even experienced a trip on a 5* luxury river cruise since working at Oyster Travel.
As well as arranging holidays I love organising weddings abroad and have experienced this first hand by getting married in Greece.

I began working for Air Uk in Norwich and left to work as a stewardess for Gulf Air in the Middle East. I then took a year out to travel round the world and then spent several years working in Business Travel.
After having my family I start working in the holiday sector and have been really lucky over the years to have had some amazing educationals such as swimming with pigs in the Bahamas. Working for Oyster Travel is like working for a family we care about each other and want the best for our customers

Having been In travel all of my working life I can honestly say I would never want to be In any other industry.
I started in travel as work experience 20 years ago and moved through sales and then to management before leaving to start my family. After deciding to return to work I was lucky enough to join the team at Oyster Travel. My current role is mainly after sales which covers a wide variety of tasks.
I am very proud to be part of such a successful and happy team.
